Julia Roberts Steps Out in Style with Husband Danny Moder for Wimbledon: 'An Incredible Day'

Julia Roberts and her husband Danny Moder joined the ranks of stylish celebrities stepping out to one of the U.K.'s most star-studded sporting events of the year — Wimbledon.

On Sunday, June 14, the Pretty Woman actress, 56, shared a post on Instagram showing off how she and the cinematographer dressed up for the tennis event in England.

In the photo, Roberts can be seen wearing a sporty, red-and-white Gucci collared dress, which she paired with dark black sunglasses and an orange Gucci purse.

She posed with her arm linked with Moder, 55, who wore a dark blue suit paired with sunglasses and a striped blue tie. The couple also posed with martial artist (and Roberts' security guard) Gay Cobham, who wore a gray plaid suit styled with sunglasses and a bright red tie.

"An incredible day at Wimbledon!" Roberts captioned the post, adding some tennis ball and heart emojis.

Earlier this month, Roberts and Moder celebrated 22 years of marriage on the Fourth of July. In a heartfelt Instagram post on that day, the actress celebrated their marriage and included a photo of the couple sharing an intimate kiss.

In the throwback photo, the Leave the World Behind star wore a spaghetti-strap black dress, and her husband was dressed in a black suit, striped shirt and patterned tie.

The pair first met on the set of their 2001 film The Mexican, where Moder was working as a cameraman. Just one year later, they tied the knot in a small ceremony held on July 4, 2002. They share three children — sons Henry and Phinnaeus and daughter Hazel.

Although the pair keep much of their relationship private, the Oscar winner recently opened up about just how important Moder is to her and her kids during an appearance on the Today show, calling him the "anchor" of their family.

"It all starts with Danny Moder,” she said in the December 2023 interview. “He is our person and, in the most beautiful way, the captain of our ship."

“For me, understanding how deeply felt life could be really started with him," she added.

Back in 2022, during an interview with CBS Sunday Morning host Jane Pauley, Roberts said she and Moder have written letters to each other over the years — and she even kept a particularly special one.

"I have the first letter he ever wrote me," she told Pauley. "And one day, I'll show it to Hazel and say, 'That's, that's what you're looking for.' "

"The life that I've built with my husband. The life that we've built with our children. That's the best stuff," Roberts continued, calling her family her "dream come true."
