We're lovin' it!

McDonald's is celebrating National French Fry Day with a sweet deal, according to a press release from the fast food chain shared with PEOPLE.

On Saturday, July 13, McDonald's will give customers fries of any size, with no purchase necessary, so long as the item is ordered exclusively in the McDonald’s mobile app.

A day prior, on Friday, July 12 — which is when the unofficial holiday falls — McDonald's offered a free order of medium fries with a $1 minimum purchase via the app.

Late last month, McDonald's announced a new special on Fridays that allows restaurantgoers the chance to get free fries on any order of $1 or more via the McDonald’s app.

The chain also recently unveiled a $5 meal deal — which includes the customer’s choice of a McDouble or McChicken sandwich with small fries, four-piece chicken McNuggets and a soft drink.

A new treat, the Grandma McFlurry, is another new addition available at the chain. The treat combines a “delicious syrup” and crunchy candy pieces — “like grandma's favorite treat that she hid in her purse!” — with vanilla soft serve, according to a release.

“The Grandma McFlurry tastes like a trip down memory lane, and we’re excited to give our fans that experience while honoring the grandma-figure in all our lives," McDonald’s Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer Tariq Hassan said.
