Amy Schumer is as giving as she is funny.

The comedian left bartenders at New York City’s Richard Rodgers Theatre speechless on Saturday after she tipped $1,000 on a $77 check.

Schumer, who was attending a performance of supersized Broadway hit Hamilton with friends and boyfriend Ben Hanisch, wanted to make sure the bar captain Sara Laursen received a “big tip,” according to ABC7.

“I look at it and I’m completely, completely shocked,” Laursen told the news outlet of the hefty sum, which was left on behalf of Schumer by one of her companions. “I was speechless and the first thing I thought in my head was, ‘Are you sure?’ ”

Five other bartenders were working Saturday night’s show, so Laursen split the tip, with each employee taking in around $140 – an amount that goes a long way for the aspiring actors and comedians.

While Laursen said she’ll use the money toward her rent, others said they might treat themselves to drinks or “chocolate.”

Said bar captain Mike Anthony, “Everyone knows that she’s hysterical and smart, but she’s incredibly generous.”

Laursen and the other bartenders posed with Schumer’s receipt for a photo on Twitter, and thanked the Trainwreck actress for her goodwill.

“From the bartenders @ @HamiltonMusical thank you @amyschumer for making our night,” she wrote.

In response to a reporter’s request for a statement, Schumer shared her own message on the social media site, writing, “lots of love to my fellow bartenders and artists. I’m grateful to them and the cast and crew for another great night.”

Also during the show, Schumer posed with the Hamilton cast onstage, writing – hilariously – “Abhhhhhh.”
