To promote their upcoming big-screen adventure, Muppets Most Wanted, opening March 21, the beloved characters created an Instagram account. And while their human costars – including Ty Burrell, Tina Fey and Ricky Gervais – are featured on the movie’s posters, The Muppets are really upping their social-media game with selflies, videos and behind-the-scenes snapshots from their publicity tour. Some of the highlights? A sweet Valentine’s Day message from diva Miss Piggy, a picture of Gonzo getting a much-needed massage, and a photo of Statler and Waldorf that proves the curmudgeons may not be ready for Instagram’s newfangled technology. “This is the fanciest calculator we’ve ever seen! [click],” they captioned their selfie.
