My Life with the Walter Boys' Noah LaLonde and Nikki Rodriguez Hit the 2024 Golden Globes Red Carpet Together

Some of TV’s newest rising stars made a splash at the 2024 Golden Globes in perfectly coordinated black-and-white outfits.

My Life with the Walter Boys star Nikki Rodriguez made her awards show debut on Sunday as she attended the star-studded event with none other than her co-star — and on-screen love — Noah LaLonde.

Rodriguez, 22, rocked two looks over the course of the night, kicking things off with an off-the-shoulder, body-hugging black Oscar de la Renta pencil dress. The number, which retails for $5,990, features a sweeping neckline outlined by bugle bead embroidery and has a high leg slit at the back.

The actress kept her hair down and behind her back throughout the evening, and her jewelry to a minimum with two silver rings and a pair of stud earrings. She finished the look with a pair of sparkly Louboutin heels.

LaLonde, 25, looked the part of young Hollywood heartthrob in a classic black suit with a double-breasted jacket, a crisp white button-down shirt and a black bowtie.

Later, the pair were photographed at the Billboard Golden Globes after party at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, and while LaLonde wore the same elegant suit, Rodriguez debuted a completely new, shorter dress for the the party circuit.

For the after party, she wore a short black-and-white Carolina Herrera dress that hit her mid-thigh, paired with a sparkly black clutch. The top of the dress was tight black satin with thin straps, and the skirt portion featured tiers of white tulle flowers.

The actors scored a breakout hit with Netflix’s Walter Boys, a 10-episode series based on Ali Novak’s 2014 book of the same name. The show was a perfect blend of The Summer I Turned Pretty and The Kissing Booth, as Rodriguez’s character, protagonist Jackie, found herself living on a farm in rural Colorado surrounded by 10 kids — nine of whom are boys.

Jackie comes to befriend two of the Walter boys particularly closely, LaLonde’s Cole and Alex (Ashby Gentry), and a love triangle ensues, creating rifts among brothers and often impeding on Jackie’s attempts to start a new life on the ranch.

Sarah Rafferty stars as the resident wrangler of the 10 Walter kids, and she told PEOPLE that she was “so excited to work with younger actors at the beginning of their career,” referring to Rodriguez, LaLonde, Gentry and the rest of the chaotic clan. 

“For me, that was an energy that I treasured, and they filled me up in a way that I didn't know I needed,” she said of the younger cast. “I guess that sounds sappy, but it's really kind of true. They were so easy to fall in love with.”

The Suits star continued, “Whenever I got a one-on-one scene with each one of these actors, it's just like they made my heart beat because they're so grounded and so open and so spontaneous and generous. It really was just so wonderful.”

Rafferty was also in attendance at Sunday's Globes, and had a reunion of her own with some of her fellow costars — and even her own former on-screen love — as the Suits cast came together and presented one of the night's awards.

She wore a backless light blue gown with a long train and a tie around her neck that hung low on her back, and she looked as elegant as ever as she stood on stage with Gabriel Macht, Patrick J. Adams and Gina Torres.
