Chrissy Teigen Celebrates Son Miles' 'Graduation' from His Headgear: 'Happy Helmet-Free Day!'

"Such a trooper for 3 months of helmet," Chrissy Teigen proudly captioned a video of herself and son Miles, 9 months, on Wednesday night

Miles Theodore is already graduating, at 9 months old — from helmet school!

The baby boy joined his mom Chrissy Teigen for a video the model and Lip Sync Battle host shared to Twitter Wednesday night, when she excitedly celebrated Miles’ end of wearing a helmet that she previously joked was used to treat his “adorable slightly misshapen head.”

“Happy helmet-free day! No more helmet!” she proclaimed joyfully before Miles (who sported cute cat ears alongside his mom in the filtered clip) made a variety of baby noises and attempted to grab Teigen’s face.

Teigen, 33, wrote alongside the sweet video, “Such a trooper for 3 months of helmet. Happy graduation, Miles!”

Teigen first shared the news of her younger child’s doctor-ordered new look in early December, tweeting, “Baby miles getting fitted for a little helmet today for his adorable slightly misshapen head.”

The condition, known as Plagiocephaly, happens when one of the soft skull plates on a baby’s head flatten, according to Healthline. Sometimes referred to as Flat Head Syndrome, the condition does not pose any danger to the baby and is often caused by staying in one position, such as lying on their backs.

“So if you see pictures, don’t feel bad for him because he’s just fixing his flat and honestly he’s probably gonna be even cuter with it somehow,” she added.

And she wasn’t kidding. Over the past three months, the Cravings: Hungry for More cookbook author and husband John Legend have shared a smattering of photos featuring their baby boy adorably sporting his football-stickers-covered headgear, posing alone, with his parents and alongside big sister Luna Simone, 3 next month.

Just one day after sharing the news about Miles’ helmet, Teigen took to Twitter once again to address some “trolls” who left negative comments concerning her son’s well-being.

“Good morning trolls! Just a friendly reminder that you do not indeed know absolutely everything,” she began. “Miles has been seeing a physiotherapist — we didn’t just go straight to helmet. We tried muscle work and will continue. Also your flat headed kid turned out fine yes yes yes I agree.”

“Just didn’t want you guys to see pictures and wonder,” Teigen added in a separate tweet. “Not promoting anything. Just sharing our story! Thank you back to your bridge now.”
