Guys' Night Out! Robin Thicke Brings Son Julian, 8½, as His Date to the 2019 Grammys

Robin Thicke told reporters ahead of the Grammys that he's "getting really excited and anxious" for his third child on the way and "ready for the new baby"

Robin Thicke’s date to the 2019 Grammys Sunday night? His son, Julian Fuego.

The “Blurred Lines” singer and his 8½-year-old little boy were the perfect pair as they walked the red carpet together at Los Angeles’ Staples Center, with Thicke outfitted in a white jacket, dark shirt, black trousers and a bow tie.

Julian looked sharp to match his dad, sporting a bow tie of his own above a navy jacket and black pants — complete with a red rose affixed to the front of his jacket.

“Thicke Boys! Grammys here we come!” the star captioned a snapshot of the duo ahead of the ceremony.

Thicke walked alongside Lady Gaga on the red carpet and introduced the A Star Is Born actress and singer to his son, when she bent down to say hi to the youngster.

While The Masked Singer judge’s pregnant fiancée April Love Geary wasn’t along for the ride Sunday evening, she did accompany Thicke, 41, to Roc Nation’s pre-Grammys brunch on Saturday in Los Angeles.

Reporters caught up with Thicke at the event, who revealed Julian would be accompanying him to Sunday’s awards ceremony for the first time.

“He’s been listening to Lauryn Hill,” the star said of Julian, his only child with ex-wife Paula Patton. “He wants to be a singer and he has a great voice, so he’s very excited to see Drake and Cardi B and all kinds of people.”

The “happy father” is expecting once again with model Geary, 24, who is due to give birth to the couple’s second little girl in March. They also share daughter Mia Love, 1 on Feb. 22.

“When you already have a baby to take care of, you’ve got plenty to do,” Thicke told reporters when asked how he was preparing for his third child on the way. “The closer we get, now we’re getting really excited and anxious, and we’re very ready for the new baby to come.”

And while he makes his best efforts to “dote on” his pregnant fiancée, he joked, “It is never enough. You can never dote too much.”

The 61st Grammy Awards, hosted by Alicia Keys, are broadcasting live from Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 10, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on CBS.
