At the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, Biles, 27, became the most decorated U.S. gymnast of all-time at the Games, surpassing Shannon Miller's seven medals. Alongside Suni Lee, Jordan Chiles, Hezly Rivera and Jade Carey, Biles claimed gold in the team all-around competition. She also qualified for the individual all-around final on Aug. 1, as well as the balance beam, floor and vault events. Cheering Biles on from the stands was her husband, Chicago Bears safety Owens, 28. The football player received an exemption from his team to miss seven mandatory practices for the Bears' preseason training in Lake Forest, Ill. According to ESPN, Bears head coach Matt Eberflus said they granted the exemption "just because we respect the Olympics." "He's just supporting the one he loves the most," Eberflus added. "And I think that's so cool that he gets to do that." Three weeks before the Olympics, Owens expressed to PEOPLE how excited he was to see his wife do what she does best. He said that he admires her training mindset and consistency, even with "everything she goes through and dealing with the media."
