'Queen' Reba McEntire Is 'Channeling Blake' for 'The Voice': 'I'm Gonna Win This Thing' (Exclusive)

"She is a legend, she is a queen," John Legend says in a promo video, premiering exclusively with PEOPLE

All hail queen Reba!

In a promo video premiering exclusively with PEOPLE on Tuesday, fans get a sneak peek at McEntire's work as a first-time coach on The Voice.

"What I plan on doing is... I'm channeling Blake [Shelton]. I'm gonna win this thing," the country singer, 68, says in the opening of the clip, while later adding "I am thrilled to be sitting in Blake's chair, I hope I do it justice."

Throughout the clip, fellow coaches Gwen Stefani, Niall Horan and John Legend praise McEntire for her work on season 24 thus far.

"I was so excited that the queen of country Reba was going to be filling Blake's seat," Stefani, 53, says. "It's super intimidating going head to head with Reba because she's so experienced and has such a legacy. She's an icon."

Legend, 44, adds, "Reba McEntire is here. She's had successful sitcoms, she's had a massively successful recording career, she's been performing, she's beloved. She's got such a magnetic personality. She is a legend, she is a queen and we're all like, 'Well, how do we fight and compete against Reba?'"

Horan, 30 — who won last season as a first-time coach — previously worked with McEntire when she appeared as a mega mentor.

"Watching her with the artists is so impressive," he says. "The way she talked through the singing side, the technical side is priceless."

Toward the end of the video, where McEntire offers up advice to contestants auditioning, she opens up about her goals as a first-time coach.

"I'm blown away by the talent," she says. "I've been in this business going on 50 years and so hopefully I'll be able to give some of the pointers that some people were sweet enough to give me, and also the things that I've learned on my own — the hard way."

The video wraps with McEntire's closing statement: "They keep calling me the queen, as they should."

The Voice season 24 will premiere on Sept. 25 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.

In May, McEntire opened up to PEOPLE about joining the hit competition show.

"The country lane — I'm taking over for Blake so I'm gonna represent country music. [He's got] big boots. I don't know what size those boots are, but they're big, so I'm gonna really work hard to make him proud," said McEntire of Shelton, who left the competition show in May after 23 seasons.
