What s the perfect gift for a newborn prince?

Prince Oscar of Sweden is the proud recipient of a real-life stork!

The one-month-old prince will sponsor a stork on behalf of the Society for Nature Conversation.

“Everyone knows that the stork brings children,” a spokesperson for the organization told Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet. “The stork is a typical Skane bird. It seems a fitting tribute to the prince that he will sponsor one for life.”

The meaningful gift is one of the first the baby Duke of Skane has received. Big sister Princess Estelle has also showered her baby brother with some of her unique artwork.

And more presents will be on the way for proud parents Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel’s baby boy next month – the royal family announcing Monday that the prince’s christening will take place on Friday, May 27.

Prince Oscar’s godparents will be confirmed before the ceremony. And just like his big sister, Oscar will be christened just before he’s three months old at the Royal Chapel inside Stockholm’s Royal Palace.
