Princess Estelle is a cheerleader-in-the-making!

The little royal showed off her national pride during a spent the day with her mother, Crown Princess Victoria, who is winding down her official engagements before the birth of her second child, as well as her father, Prince Daniel, as the trio went to cheer on the national ice hockey team – fittingly named the Three Crowns.

The young family of three crown-wearers turned up to support their national team from the bleachers in full spirit. Princess Estelle was wearing their yellow and blue national colors, and had the Swedish flag painted on her right cheek.

The high spirited young princess, who celebrates her fourth birthday on February 23, seems to have put aside any tiresome thoughts she might be having about the imminent arrival of her new sibling, the Swedish newspaper Expressen reported.

The second in line (after her mom!) to the Swedish throne “cheered and screamed like never before,” one observer said.

All her enthusiasm seems to have done the trick: Sweden’s Three Crowns beat their Scandinavian neighbors, Finland, with a final score of 4-2.

Perhaps it goes to show that three crowns are better than none!
