The former Olympic athlete, 31, recently a sweet photo on her Instagram Story of herself with her 4-week-old son Barrett "Bear" Madison, adding a lengthy caption that gave an update about how she's been adjusting to life with three kids. "Most amazing thing about this special small window of time with a newborn is being able to hold, cuddle, nurse, and be with him 24/7," she wrote. "It's a time like no other that you'll never get back." "BUT. The hardest part of this short phase is missing my big kids," she went on to admit. "Daddy is doing the best job in the world showering them with attention and adventures but this mama misses her big babies." In addition to her newborn, Johnson East is mom to son Jett James, 2, and Drew Hazel, 4, who she shares with husband Andrew East. Over the weekend, Johnson East found herself in a very relatable parenting moment after her daughter decided to cut off some of her own hair. The retired gymnast shared a photo of herself holding a chunk of hair on her Instagram, with a caption explaining it belonged to Drew. "Teaching your toddler how to use scissors means they'll think they are a hair stylist. How did I not see this coming?" The next story zoomed in on the sizable chunk of hair, followed by another showing the back of Drew's head, with her hair in pigtails and a circle around the missing mass of hair. In December, Johnson East celebrated her first Christmas as family a four, sharing a peek at her family's festivities, which came just two weeks after she welcomed her third baby.
