Pregnant Shawn Johnson Says She'd Consider Adoption for Baby No. 4: 'Have Not Taken More Kids Off the Table'

Shawn Johnson East hasn't closed the door on adding more kids to her family.

In a Q&A on her Instagram Story, the former Olympic athlete, 31, was asked if she was open to the idea of more children. Johnson East, who is currently pregnant with her third baby, said that while she hasn't "taken more kids off the table," she doesn't plan on being pregnant again.

"I have not taken more kids off the table. I have just said to Andrew that I feel like my body is done with pregnancy," she explained. "I've been so blessed and lucky but 3 full-term pregnancies, 3 c-sections, 3 BIG babies has taken its toll on my body specifically and I want to be as healthy and active for my kids as possible."

"So, I now put adoption on the table," Johnson East said.

Johnson East and husband Andrew East are already parents to son Jett James, 2, and daughter Drew Hazel, 4.

Earlier this month, the pregnant mom of two made a passing comment about her toddler son, revealing that he weighs 48 lbs. On a later Instagram Q&A, a fan asked the retried Olympian if she meant that literally.

"A lot of these questions, yes. I'm serious," she said with a laugh. "He's just very dense and tall, but yes, he's 48 lbs. And he wears a size 12 shoe. I'm not kidding."

"I always love these questions because Andrew and I actually did an entire podcast about kids and sports and just like all of it," she began, noting it would be released in the weeks to come.

"But just because a kid is built a certain way does not mean they're destined to do a specific thing," she said.

"I don't know what Jett is going to do," she said, noting he likes "anything risky right now."

"But just because he's built like a linebacker means nothing," Johnson East continued. "He might be a pianist, scientist, mathematician, or whatever. It's just our job to help him find what he loves, so who knows? He might just be the biggest jock you've ever seen."

In July, Johnson East chatted with PEOPLE about her third pregnancy, saying that her two older kids are looking forward to being big siblings.

"I don't think Jett understands," she said. "Maybe he does, but Drew is very, very excited and she talks about it daily or kisses my belly daily or something. It's adorable."

As for what she's most excited about after her baby arrives, Johnson East said that she can't wait to "introduce the baby to my other babies. I think they will be the greatest and it'll just be exciting to have that moment where we can share it all together."
