Jennifer Lawrence Finally Reveals Engagement Ring from Cooke Maroney — and It's Huge

Earlier this month, the news broke that Jennifer Lawrence and her art gallery director beau Cooke Maroney got engaged, and we’re finally getting a closer look at the actress’ stunning engagement ring.

On Thursday, Lawrence had a girls’ night out with her friends at ABC Cocina in N.Y.C., wear she flashed a glimpse of her massive diamond for the first time.

The ring appears to be an round shaped diamond set on an intricate gold band, which is different from the ring she has been seen wearing out and about since the news broke.

Lawrence, 28, was first spotted with a thin band on her ring finger during a night out in New York City with Maroney, 34, a day before the news of their engagement broke. Later that same week she was spotted grabbing dinner with Maroney again with the same ring — a thin gold band with a small diamond in the center.

It’s possible the star’s been wearing the same ring since her engagement, but with the diamond turned inside, and only now revealed the center diamond.

A rep for Lawrence confirmed her engagement to PEOPLE on Tuesday, after Page Six reported that Lawrence was spotted with a a “massive ring” at a dinner earlier this week. The outlet also reported that the ring, “was very noticeable.”

In June, a source confirmed to PEOPLE that they were dating (According to Page Six TV, a close friend introduced the two) and they were pictured later that month on a romantic candlelit dinner in New York City.

Then the couple jetted off to Paris and Rome in August. At the time a source told PEOPLE the couple “seemed happy, occasionally holding hands” during their Parisian trip.

Five months before the two got together, Lawrence split from 49-year-old mother! director Darren Aronofsky after dating for over a year.

But it seems everything’s friendly between the two. In September, Lawrence and Maroney both attended the New York Film Festival premiere of The Favourite that stars her other ex Nicholas Hoult and one of her best friends, Emma Stone, where Aronofsky was also in attendance.

Maroney works in the New York art scene and reportedly is a director at Gladstone 64, the Gladstone Gallery’s Upper East Side location in the famed Edward Durell Stone House. The gallery is known for representing prominent artists including Lena Dunham’s artist father, Carroll Dunham.
