Kendall Jenner Channels 'Vintage Paris Hilton Vibes' in a Tiny, Sparkly $9,000 Dress for Her 21st Birthday

Despite whata bevy of supermodels’ Instagram posts would have you believe, today is in fact Kendall Jenner‘s 21st birthday. And being a KarJenner, it wouldn’t truly be a birthday celebration without a major blowout party (this time at the L.A. hot spot Delilah), a custom Snapchat filter, a MirMir photo booth, and, most importantly, a very revealing, statement-making dress.

So, for her major milestone, the Vogue cover girl turned to Lebanese designer Antoine Salameh of brand LaBourjoisie, to create a custom look.

The design, a glittering mesh dress covered in Swarovski crystals, was a collaboration between the brand LaBourjoisie and her stylist Monica Rose. The model provided an inspiration photo of what she wanted and the team took it from there, delivering a crystal-covered look that features a deep cowl neckline with thin chain straps that wrapped around her neck, a low plunging back, and a very short skirt.

Salameh took seven days to complete the design. And while the look is custom, should someone be interested in something similar, it would retail for a cool $9,000. Not too shabby for a girl who only just got the right to legally take a sip of alcohol.

The designer, who has also created looks for Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, Paris Hilton, and Khloé Kardashian, told WWD that this was “the perfect party dress because it’s very lightweight and easy to move in.”

He added, “we went off of Kendall’s ’20s reference and we wanted to give her a modern take on it; like Kendall, the dress is timeless and chic. She sent over reference images and I took it from there. It’s young, sexy and fun.”

And Kendall made it crystal clear exactly what one of the reference images she brought to the designer was, sharing a shot of the dress on Instagram today with the caption, “vintage Paris Hilton vibes,” as her fans had already started to point out that it’s almost an exact replica of the mini the heiress wore to celebrate her 21st.

But it turns out this was actually the second elaborate look the birthday girl wore to her endless evening of celebrations. The model kicked off the night at a private dinner at Catch wearing a semi-sheer, black, reptile print Julien Macdonald bodysuit with a plunging, lace-up neckline and a green Charlotte Simone fur stole for an extra bit of glamour.

And even better yet, both the dress and the jumpsuit allowed the newly turned 21-year-old to put her breasts on full display, which as Jenner’s said before is one of her all-time favorite things.
