Kylie Jenner and Jordyn Woods Launched a 'BFF' Makeup Collection 5 Months Before Cheating Scandal

Kylie Jenner and Jordyn Woods — the star’s longtime best friend at the center of Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson‘s latest alleged cheating scandal — are more than just best friends. They’re business partners too.

Just five months before Thompson, 27, was allegedly unfaithful with Woods, 21, the model collaborated with Jenner, 21, on a special Kylie x Jordan best friend Kylie Cosmetics makeup line, featuring a 12-pan eyeshadow palette, a highlighter quad, lip glosses and matte lipsticks. While the collection first launched (and sold out) in September 2018, it’s been restocked numerous times since then, and is still currently available for purchase on the Kylie Cosmetics website.

Woods told PEOPLE weeks before the collection dropped that the line was something she and Jenner had been planning on doing for years.

“We’ve been working on this for a minute. It has been the past couple of years I feel like, or at least a year,” Woods told us at the time. “We redesigned it at least five times because we couldn’t settle on one thing. We finally figured out one that made sense.”

Jenner, who’s previously launched Kylie Cosmetics collaborations with her sisters Kim Kardashian West, Kourtney Kardashian and Khloé, as well as mom Kris Jenner, opened up about how meaningful it was to work with Woods on this project.

“i wanted to come on here and let you know just how special this collection really is to me. jordyn and i have had a true unmatchable relationship and i consider her family. she’s helped me remain ME throughout all these years and this is the first time we have collaborated on such a project! it has been so much fun and I’ll cherish the memories forever!” Jenner wrote on Instagram before unveiling the line.

The drama began circulating on Tuesday when TMZ and Hollywood Unlocked reported that Kardashian and Thompson had split after he cheated with Jenner’s best friend, Woods.

“Khloé found out yesterday about Tristan and Jordyn,” a source told PEOPLE about Kardashian, 34. “The whole family is furious,” the source added about the Kardashian-Jenner family. “They were blindsided.”

Another source told PEOPLE that the KarJenners are particularly upset with Woods. They are “beyond angry and disgusted” with her, the source added.

One day after she and her family were informed about Thompson’s alleged unfaithfulness, Kardashian responded to Hollywood Unlocked’s Instagram post — about her reported split from Thompson and cheating with Woods, 21 — by posting eight screaming emojis.

Kardashian’s best friend Malika Haqq also commented on the post, writing in all capital letters, “STRONG FACTS.”

The alleged scandal comes nearly one year after videos leaked of Thompson getting close to other women, just days before Kardashain gave birth to her first child, baby girl True, in April 2018.

Reps for Kardashian and Thompson did not immediately return PEOPLE’s requests for comment. Woods’ rep had no comment.
