In opening up about what she deemed an "absolutely humiliating" breakup, Hubbard told Us Weekly that the split shook her world, noting that it "was not my decision." "He blew up my entire life," the Summer House star, 37, said. "I was crying, I was angry, and I had to find closure on my own. Now I’m at a place where I feel really good about moving on." She also "absolutely will never have regrets about being with him." As for how she's holding up overall, Hubbard said: "The first month, I allowed myself to feel all of the feels: go through the sadness, the pain, the whiplash." "I process [things] by talking about my emotions, and my friends allowed me that space," she continued. "I was able to regain my strength and [the] confidence of like, OK, I can do this." Hubbard, who still lives alone in the pair's shared apartment, says the split taught her some very important lessons about herself. "I'm stronger than I ever thought, because if I can get through this, then everything else is peanuts to me," she said. "I've gotten a lot of [messages] from girls saying that it’s an inspiration to see how I’ve put one foot in front of the other to get back out there, starting with the bachelorette trip, which was just three weeks [after the split]. I feel like I'm getting the momentum to find happiness and joy." Radke announced the news in a letter shared with family and friends, saying the former couple was "so incredibly sorry to all of our guests for the confusion and lack of communication" as they "were left trying to figure out how this all exactly happened before we could even have the opportunity to determine the path forward amongst ourselves." "There have been a lot of false narratives and misunderstandings that have made this all the more painful but sadly at this time we are not moving forward with the wedding," Radke continued in the letter obtained by PEOPLE. "The fact of the matter is Lindsay is devastated and I'm crushed with how all this transpired. I graciously ask for some patience and grace to heal and recover while we navigate this extremely difficult time." Summer House's Paige DeSorbo Says Carl Radke Did Ex Lindsay Hubbard 'a Favor' By Calling Off Engagement David Benthal Sharing some insight on what went awry between the two, the pair's Summer House costar Kyle Cooke claimed it got to a point where "they couldn't even communicate anymore without a third party." "It's no secret that they've been in constant couple's therapy ever since they basically started dating," Cooke, 41, recently told E! News. "From my perspective, there were times where I was like, 'Man, it's almost like the only time they could communicate on any given week was in therapy."
