Diana Ross

Diana Ross is an American singer and actress. She rose to prominence in the 1960s as the lead singer of The Supremes. The singing group was known for Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 songs, including "You Can't Hurry Love" and "Baby Love." When she went solo in 1970, Ross continued to top the charts with hits such as "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" and "Touch Me in the Morning." She also found success in acting, earning an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress in 1973 for her performance in Lady Sings the Blues. Her other notable films include 1975's Mahogany and 1978's The Wiz.
