Jameela Jamil

Jameela Jamil is an English actress and activist. She rose to fame in 2009 as a presenter on a British pop culture show. Jamil later transitioned to acting. Her first major role was on the NBC sitcom The Good Place from 2016 to 2020. She has appeared in the films How to Build a Girl (2019) and Marry Me (2022). Jamil also hosted The Misery Index game show from 2019 to 2021, and she serves as a judge on HBO Max's reality competition series Legendary. Jamil is an advocate for body positivity, launching the I Weigh Instagram account in 2018 and the I Weigh with Jameela Jamil podcast in 2020.
