Shonda Rhimes

Shonda Rhimes is an American TV screenwriter, producer and author. She is best known for creating popular series such as Grey's AnatomyScandal and How to Get Away with Murder. Rhimes also has screenwriting credits for films, including 2002's Crossroads and 2004's The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement. As part of her 2017 deal with Netflix, she and her production company, Shondaland, produced Bridgerton (2020-present) and the 2022 limited series Inventing Anna. Rhimes is also the author of the 2016 memoir Year of Yes: How to Dance It Out, Stand in the Sun and Be Your Own Person.
