At her first Eras Tour show in Hamburg, Germany, on Tuesday, July 23, the “I Can Do It with a Broken Heart” singer, 34, proved once again a little rain won't stop her from putting on a showstopping concert. I think a rain show only chooses a crowd that is completely worthy and ready to party with us all night in the rain." On guitar, Swift performed “Teardrops on My Guitar” from Taylor Swift mixed with “The Last Time” from Red. She then traded her guitar for the piano as she played a rendition of “We Were Happy” from Fearless and “Happiness” from Evermore. The singer was given a warm welcome from the city, which was renamed to “Swiftkirchen” after a local fan petitioned the mayor earlier this month. Swift even received a temporary tile on the Gelsenkirchen Walk of Fame, an honor typically only reserved for local personalities. Following her shows in Hamburg, the star will bring her act to one more German city: Munich, on Saturday, July 27 and Sunday, July 28, before heading to Austria and Poland in early August. She’ll close out the European leg of her global smash tour with five nights in London after three buzzy nights in the English capital earlier this summer.
