The NFL player, who is participating in the celebrity charity tournament at the Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course in Nevada from Friday, July 12, until Sunday, July 14, received some comforting words after hitting a bad shot. Kelce waved at the crowd before walking off to his next hole on the course. The 14-time Grammy winner, 34, was not far from mind, as several of her songs played as Kelce teed off during the first and second rounds. At one point, Kelce bopped his head and sang along to a remix of Swift's “Lavender Haze” from from her 2022 Midnights album, as seen in an social video from NBC Sports Bay Area & CA. Other songs that played while the footballer prepared to swing his golf club included “Fortnight” from her 2024 album, The Torture Poet’s Department, and “Love Story” from her 2008 Fearless album. The rankings posted to the ESPN NFL’s Instagram were compiled based on surveys given to executives, coaches and scouts in the league and named the top 10 players in 11 different NFL positions. The Kansas City Chiefs also commented on the achievement on Instagram, which Swift also liked.
