Former White House Staffer Anthony Scaramucci Leaves 'Celebrity Big Brother' After Just 6 Days

The former White House communications director was seen at a business conference in Davos, Switzerland

Anthony Scaramucci‘s stint in the Celebrity Big Brother house was even shorter than his time in the White House.

After six days on CBB, the former White House communications director has left. It is still unclear what the circumstances behind is exit are.

On Wednesday, Scaramucci was seen at a business conference in Davos, Switzerland, and briefly discussed his stint in the house, according to TMZ. “I just left the Big Brother house … you have to tune in Friday to understand what happened,” he said in footage. “Unfortunately I signed a confidentiality [agreement], but there’s a little bit of a cliffhanger.”

PEOPLE has reached out to CBS for comment.

On Tuesday’s episode, Head of Household Ryan Lochte nominated Scaramucci and Tom Green for eviction, but the elimination won’t take air until Friday.

In a clip of Wednesday’s episode, Scaramucci opened up about his interactions with President Donald Trump.

“One of the things he used to love was — he’d shoot the tweet and he’d be watching TV and boom, breaking news and there was the tweet. It was on the news. Just think about it. At that time he probably had 20 million Twitter followers, now he’s got probably 60, but he said, ‘I’ve got 20 million Twitter followers, how many people read the Wall Street Journal? Two million? So I’ve got ten times the power of the Wall Street Journal, oh and by the way, I shoot it off the satellite, it lands on everybody’s newsfeed.’ So he figured that out and exploited it big time. He played it like a fiddle and by the way he still is.”

“Let’s face it, I’m not a fan on the president’s war on the media or the non-strategic use of his Twitter feed,” Scaramucci said to the camera. “Having said that, he’s going to continue to that anyway. He’s never tweeted at me. One, I stay loyal to him, I don’t really say bad things about him. I’ll tell him to knock it off on Twitter, but I still want to help him. But if he turned on me, he knows I’ve got a big mouth. That’s not going to be great for him.”

Another ex-Trump staffer, Omarosa Manigault Newman, fared better on CBB, coming in fifth place last season. She worked as assistant to the president and director of communications for the office of public liaison for one year until December 2018, when she announced her resignation (effective January 2018).

Celebrity Big Brother‘s next episode airs Thursday at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
