Celebrity Kids Keep Crashing Their Parents' TV Interviews and It's Hilariously Relatable

Carson Daly and grandma Kris Jenner are the latest to have kids make unexpected appearances during live chats

Though stay-at-home orders and social distancing amid the COVID-19 pandemic have slowed down, most celebs are still frequently juggling working from home with parenting. But rather than a company-wide Zoom call their kid is interrupting, it's interviews that air for the world to see. Over the past two years, celebrity kids have been crashing their parents' interviews and, honestly, talk shows have never been cuter or sillier.

Stormi Webster bugged Kris Jenner just as she was hitting the hot seat.

On New Year's Eve 2021, Kris Jenner called in to Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen's CNN broadcast — and her granddaughter Stormi Webster, 3, joined her just in time.

As Cohen was asking Jenner about the state of Kim Kardashian's relationship with Pete Davidson, the tot popped into the room Jenner was speaking from.

"Hey, Stormi. You sit right here. Nice distraction! Good timing, Stormi. Perfect. Right on cue."

Carson Daly's cutie joined him on the air.

On Jan. 3, 2022, the dad of four was surprised by his youngest child, 21-month-old daughter Goldie Patricia, while broadcasting his Popstart segment from home.

As he prepared to start the segment, Daly's daughter called out for him behind the camera.

"Da-da, da-da," Goldie said as she entered the room off-screen.

Daly's co-hosts Al Roker, Hoda Kotb, Craig Melvin and Sheinelle Jones were excited to see which of Daly's kids would be joining the broadcast.

Daly picked up his little girl and sat her down on his lap in front of the camera as his co-hosts cheered.

"Did you just walk in here by yourself?" he asked Goldie, who proudly replied, "Yeah!"

Prior to that, Megan Fox's sons ran wild during her chat with Today.

The actress gave a surprise glimpse at her home life in June 2021 when her kids crashed her Today interview, crawling in and out of frame with very little stealth.

"They just woke up. It's 7:30 here. So, they woke up a few minutes ago, and it just is what it is," the proud mom told co-hosts Jenna Bush Hager and Savannah Guthrie. "You always have to make it work."

"I'm in the house that we're staying in right now, this is the living room area," Fox explained. "And they all fell asleep on the couch last night, watching a movie. So, they just woke up."

She struggled to keep a straight face while promoting her new movie Till Death, as Noah, Bodhi and Journey, whom she shares with ex Brian Austin Green, continued to steal the show. "Here comes another one," Fox said, as Journey ran by her. "Journey, you've got to crawl."

Tina Fey's daughter hopped into her interview with Seth Meyers with the express purpose of calling her mom a loser.

Fey's daughter, Penelope walked in on her mom's interview, and when she was asked what she needed, she simply and slowly placed her hand to her forehead, and brought her thumb and forefinger into the shape of an "L."

Jimmy Fallon's daughters became regular fixtures on his at-home show earlier in the pandemic.

From Fallon's at-home show's very first episode, daughters Winnie and Franny helped their dad run things, providing graphics and intro music for him. They also offered sweet interruptions whenever they deemed necessary.

Their openings were always very cute, however.

We could watch them slide across the floor on their backs all day.

Sometimes they slid down the slide (!) that the Fallons have in their home while Dad was in the middle of doing his job.

"That's gonna be a funny video," Winnie remarked of her little sister's interruption.

Here, they took their jobs helping their dad with his 'Thank You Note' segment very seriously.

And then not-so-seriously ...

They also loved to stop by for their dad's interviews. Like when Winnie ran into the middle of her dad's interview with Ciara and Russell Wilson to inform them that she lost her tooth.

"Mommy put a string around my tooth, then she tried to pull it out and then it worked," she exclaimed, sitting in her dad's lap. Thankfully, Ciara and Russell — parents to three young children themselves — were into it.

Or when Winnie interrupted the broadcast specifically to ask her dad where her mom was, and ended up teaching Jon Hamm the difference between a pig and a cow.

Or when they hijacked his interview with Ethan Hawke and just stared in the camera giggling.

And the Fallon girls aren't the only ones! Seth Meyers' sons played very important roles in their dad's late-night show.

Meyers was at first doing his show from the attic, and his sons Ashe and Axel weren't afraid to put on some costumes and help him out. This time, they emerged at the end of his 'A Closer Look' segment as hornets.

Jimmy Kimmel's kids stopped by to play Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, but Billy did not care if he won a million pennies.

Jane was very into playing along and helping her dad, but her brother, Billy, was more into ... anything else.

Kevin Jonas' daughters, Alena and Valentina, crashed an interview with their uncles Nick and Joe Jonas even though they were "supposed to be doing school work."

Adam Sandler's daughter Sunny crashed her dad's interview with Jimmy Kimmel to tell a harrowing tale involving ear hair.

Sandler's daughter Sunny stopped by to give a status report on her dad's ear, which he maimed while trying to shave an ear hair. "So it's bloody and then there's a big..." prompting Sandler to finish with "there's a gut! She says there's apparently a gut coming off my ear." Sunny then left her dad alone, but not before giving him a quick kiss!
