Devious Maids star Rebecca Wisocky said ‘I do’ to award-winning theatrical lightning designer, Lap Chi Chu in Boston on Oct. 10.

“I am marrying my best friend and quite honestly the best man I’ve ever known,” Wisocky, 43, tells PEOPLE. “I can’t believe my good fortune to find this happiness. It’s never too late.”

The couple held their nuptials at a turn-of-the-century mansion which overlooked the Boston Common, followed by a traditional Chinese tea ceremony and banquet at Boston’s iconic China Pearl restaurant.

Wisocky’s gown is by Angel Sanchez couture. The stylist was Samantha Elizabeth Popa of Andrea’s Bridal. Wisocky later changed into a custom strapless red Chinese silk brocade gown by Manij for the 12-course reception banquet.
