Fuller (Scarier) House?

Earlier this week, Netflix released the first teaser trailer for Fuller House, the highly anticipated spin-off of the classic, family-friendly sitcom Full House.

But the folks over at ScreenCrush re-cut the trailer as a horror movie, and it’s not exactly what you’d expect from “your old familiar friends.”

The visuals in the trailer remained the same, but the sweet Miranda Lambert tune was swapped with the spooky music from the 2014 thriller It Follows.

With just a simple change of score, the transition from family-friendly to horror worked a bit too well on the trailer.

Thankfully, the Feb. 26 Fuller House premiere most likely won’t be so scary.

The new series will follow Kimmy (Andrea Barber) and Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) as they help DJ (Candace Cameron Bure) to raise her three sons.

Most of the original cast members like John Stamos, Dave Coulier, Bob Saget and Lori Laughlin will have cameos in some episodes.

DJ’s old love interest, Steve (Scott Weinger) will appear along with Jesse and Becky’s twin sons, Nickey and Alex (Blake and Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit).

Ashley Olsen and (newly married) Mary-Kate Olsen, who shared the role of Michelle, will not appear in the spin-off.
