Jennifer Hudson Shares Clip of Son Dancing to Michael Jackson (VIDEO)

Jennifer Hudson might be her son’s favorite singer, but there’s a dancer out there who’s captured the little guy’s heart.

It’s Michael Jackson, so at least he has good taste.

Hudson was a guest on Late Night with Seth Meyers Tuesday, and noted that her son, David Daniel Otunga Jr., has only her feelings at heart: He didn’t want to make her feel bad that Jackson was his favorite singer, so he amended his statement to put Mom at No. 1 in the singing slot, and MJ at No. 1 in dancing.

(Interestingly, Hudson was actually pregnant with David while she performed at an MJ memorial.)

Hudson’s newest album, JHUD, is out now. And she’s got her eyes on a cinematic prize, as well: Hudson told Billboard that she wants to play Aretha Franklin in a film someday, calling it her “dream role.”
