And they’d been trying to introduce us for a long time,” the actress shared in her May 2019 cover interview for Harper’s Bazaar UK. While the pair was following and keeping up to date with one another on social media, Jonas, 29, finally took the plunge and sent a hello to Turner’s inbox. “We were following each other on Instagram and he direct-messaged me one fine day, out of the blue,” the Game of Thrones star revealed to the outlet. She said of her musician fiancé: “You wouldn’t expect he’s about to turn 30 this year. He’s the most fun, energetic, positive person I’ve ever seen. I had a bit of an identity crisis where I was playing all these people and I’d grown up faster than I probably should have done,” she told Glamour U.K. for a cover story. “I hadn’t been able to experience university, or just spend a lot of time with friends, so for a while, I kept thinking, ‘Who am I?’ “ It wasn’t until Turner started dating Jonas that she said her life began to change for the better.
