As a project assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the materials testing and inspections project managers by coordinating activities, managing documentation, and assisting with data analysis. You will work closely with the project manager and team members to ensure smooth project execution. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in materials testing and inspections, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. We are looking for an efficient project assistant to help our project management team. Qualifications: ✔ Bachelors or higher degree in civil engineering ✔ Working knowledge of construction materials testing procedures working knowledge of ASTM, AASHTO and IBC standards and specifications ✔ Ability to read and understand project technical specifications ✔ Job duties include the following, but not limited to Review daily testing reports from technicians Plot test results on plans on a daily basis (pdf comments) Review test frequencies and specifications against the technician reports and project specifications and inform the project manager if there are any deficiencies. ✔ Participate in project progress meetings. ✔ Prepare quality control plans ✔ Monitor project billing activities ✔ Majority of our scope of work will include, but not limited to   ✔ Soil Compaction testing for roadways, trenches, structural backfill, etc. ✔ Concrete testing, roads, bridges, structures ✔ Grout/ mortar/ CMU testing ✔ Civil inspections, roadway, utilities etc ✔ Reinforcing Steel inspections ✔ Welding and bolting inspections ✔ PT inspections Working time zone will be 8 AM to 12 PM / 8 AM to 5 PM Mountain Standard Time. - Work at Home set-up (or work anywhere! 😉) Send your CV now to [email protected].
