This positions is really challenging for me because of two reasons: 1. I got accepted in the midst of the pandemic which made it really hard to connect with the members and 2. this is a university-wide organization. To add more, the organization reaches out and partners with different institution outside the university. Since I consider myself a newbie with this responsibility, I make it to appoint that I stick with the following duties and responsibilities: 1. Manage calls for membership, recommend the manner of acknowledging new members, and renewal of membership. 2. Review applications for membership. 3. Manage and update the list and profiling of current and new members. 4. Issue certificates of membership or membership ID to members. 5. Ensure confidentiality of records of members. 6. I was scared at first because it was my first time leading a student organization and we were not introduced well with its purpose since back then, it was only composed of students in a single class. However, I made sure that by the end of my term, incoming freshmen recognizes the organization. We launched its official facebook page, introduced the officers, made videos that boosted the publicity of the page… Mas marami pa

On to my second year in college, I was elected president of this organization. I was scared at first because it was my first time leading a student organization and we were not introduced well with its purpose since back then, it was only composed of students in a single class. However, I made sure that by the end of my term, incoming freshmen recognizes the organization. We launched its official facebook page, introduced the officers, made videos that boosted the publicity of the page, initiated freshmen orientation and acquaintance party, made an official organization shirt to boost our identity, participated in the annual JMS Day where we conducted a debate competition and supported HR students competing in different events such as pageants and academic competitions. My task as the president is to lead my colleagues in accomplishing our visons and goals for our organization. This includes contacting different suppliers to support some of our events, communicating and reaching out to other students organization, conducting monthly/regular meetings and ensuring that the activities proposed benefited our student body.
