The position is responsible in ensuring that the ISO 22000 system is implemented and maintained in accordance to all policies, procedures, and work instructions established in the property.
Responsibilities
Report the effectiveness and suitability of the ISO 22000 system to Amanpulo top management for review to facilitate improvement of the ISO 22000 system.
Organize and coordinate the work of the food safety team.
Identify and document any problems with regards to food, water, processes, and the ISO 22000 system.
Initiate corrective actions and control non-confirming products until the deviation or the unsatisfactory condition regarding food safety has been corrected.
Initiate action to prevent the occurence and recurrence of any non-conformances relating to the products, processes, and the ISO 22000 system.
Provide resources to achieve quality related activties and/or resolve food safety and quality issues.
Attend and spearhead the food safety team meetings as necessary to assure effectiveness of committee process.
Participate and lead the internal audit as per schedule.
Keep accurate retained documented information and maintain all documentation information as required by all food safety procedures and work instructions.
Ensure that all documents that related to the proper functioning of the ISO 22000 food safety system are controlled for availability and up-to-date.
Qualifications
Preferably a graduate of Bachelor of Food Science / Food Technology or any related courses
Minimum of three - four years work experience as Hygiene & Sanitation Manager in a hotel/resort
Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and HACCP - ISO 22000
Responsible self-starter, capable of handling multi-faceted projects, or working under pressure
A proactive problem solver
A team player and is able to communicate effectively with all levels of team members
