I installed VisualEditor and parsoid. It works fine but when clicking Insert > Media, I don't see any of my local files.
If I enable instant commons, I see files from wikimedia commons (but still no local files)
In the browser console:

I see this is now marked as resolved. That was quick :-)
How can I proceed to get the fix installed: I use MW 1.23, can I still install from git or should I backport the patch to my version?
Backporting the patch to 1.23 almost certainly won't work, because the media provider code was completely rewritten recently. You can install VE from git, but that also requires you upgrade MW to the git version, because MW 1.23 is too old to work with the git version of VE.
