Police Respond to Shooting in the Hill District

Summary:

Just after 11 p.m., Pittsburgh Police Zone 2 officers responded to the 2200 block of Webster Avenue for reports of a person shot.

Officers located a male victim with a gunshot wound to the back. Medics transported him to the hospital in critical condition.

VCU and Crime Unit detectives processed the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
