Police Investigate After Victim Arrives at Hospital with Gunshot Wound

Summary:

Just after 4:30 p.m., Zone 5 officers responded to shots fired call on the 6300 block of Saint Marie Street.

Upon arrival, officers located a crime scene but no victim or actors.

Just before 5 p.m., a victim walked into a local hospital in stable condition with a gunshot wound. The two incidents are believed to possibly be connected.

The Violent Crime Unit processed the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
