SWAT, Emergency Crews Respond to Officer-Involved Critical Incident in Zone 3

Location: St. Clair/Zone 3
Summary:

At 3:07 p.m., Zone 3 officers responded to a house on the 500 block of Engstler Street in the Saint Clair neighborhood for reports of a suspicious person. 

Following shots fired at police, an adult female was pronounced deceased at the scene. 

This is confirmed as a critical incident/officer-involved shooting. 

Allegheny County Police will be investigating.
