About
From an early age, I've had a clear vision of myself as a contract writer for a prestigious publishing house, sipping on tea and indulging in the final lines of a thrilling mystery novel, but life had other plans for me.
Graduating with a Pharm-D degree, I embarked on a career at Otsuka, a multinational pharmaceutical company, where I evolved from a management trainee to an officer and senior officer in quality assurance and validation. At Otsuka Pakistan Limited, I played a pivotal role in upholding rigorous pharmaceutical quality and safety standards. My responsibilities spanned various quality control functions, including overseeing processes such as Artworks, CAPAs, SOPs, Protocols, Reports, market complaints, change controls, deviation management, CTD Dossiers, and APQRs/PQRs, as well as SAP batch and GRR release.
While I've been committed to my role at Otsuka, my perspective shifted when I was introduced to the world of freelancing. Motivated by my exceptional typing speed and software skills, I've ventured into offering services such as content writing, cover letter and resume writing, presentation design, logo design, and data entry. It's been fulfilling to help individuals manage their time and schedules more efficiently, allowing them to focus on their personal and professional pursuits.
At the same time, I've taken the leap and self-published my book "Merit: A Dilemma" on KDP Amazon, taking the first step towards fulfilling my long-held ambition.
Now, as I transition to a new chapter as the First Line Lead Production at Haleon, a prominent player in the pharmaceutical industry, my perspective expands further. Drawing on my background as a production officer, I engage in activities such as process optimization, batch record review, and ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). These experiences sharpen my skills in coordinating production activities, managing FIFO and fostering a culture of safety and efficiency within the production team.
As I reflect on my journey, I'm reminded of the words of Maitree Tailor: "Life is a battlefield. I am not a survivor, but a warrior in it." Every experience, whether planned or unexpected, has a purpose in shaping our lives. I'm grateful for the lessons I've learned and the opportunities that lie ahead. Join me as I continue to pursue my passion and make a meaningful impact in the world of pharmaceuticals and writing.
