MetLife Poland Centre of Excellence employees had the great opportunity to meet with John McCallion, CFO and Head of MIM (MetLife Investment Management), and Nick Hayter, CFO, EMEA, who visited our Warsaw office on August 5-6. In a Q&A session attended by more than 100 colleagues, John and Nick shared their thoughts on a range of topics including MetLife's second quarter financial results, the strong performance of the EMEA region and the Centre of Excellence’s important contribution to MetLife’s operations. We have concluded a training session focused on Lean methodology, with over 100 participants joining us. This training aimed to support our goals of "scaling excellence" and "raising the bar." Participants built a basic understanding of Lean methodology, learned how Lean concepts and tools can be applied in the workplace, and fostered a mindset of continuous improvement. And of course, we made sure to have some fun along the way!
