🤔 Can AI really boost developer productivity by up to 60%, or is this just a marketing buzzword? We explored this question at the "Gemini Code Assist" workshop, hosted by Google Polska and led by Eviden. During the workshop at Google Warsaw Headquarters, we shared knowledge about Gemini Code Assist in practical use cases and tested new functionalities like Code Customization (preview) and Full Codebase Awareness (preview). As Jaroslaw Sobel shared, our team delved into scenarios starting with basic code assistance that seamlessly integrates AI into developers' daily workflows. We also explored more advanced scenarios, such as automating code reviews and generating meaningful unit tests. These weren't just theoretical discussions; the workshop included live demos and interactive labs, allowing us to test these AI tools in real-time. It wasn't just about technology. We also engaged in insightful discussions about real-world applications, all while enjoying the panoramic views of Warsaw city. 'Shaul David, a fintech and embedded finance consultant, said the deal is a validation for the Baas business model.' 'Lars Markull said (Vodeno with) the addition of Aion Bank has made the deal interesting because now Unicredit can make a play in the Baas space without having to manage the compliance in-house.'
