Collaborating with foundations and other non-profit organizations is one of the pillars of KABAK activities. As a brand, we aspire to actively contribute to building a world in which we would all want to live. We believe that in order to help wisely and effectively, it is crucial to collaborate with people who are knowledgeable in this field. They help us choose the right methods of action and give them the proper direction, which will ultimately lead to real support. We know that the World NGO Day was already  in February, but regardless of the date, every day we want to express our gratitude to Fundacja Avalon, Fundacja Ocalenie | Ocalenie Foundation, and Międzynarodowy Ruch Na Rzecz Zwierząt - Viva! – not only for our joint projects but also for all the initiatives you undertake!

What to make with KABAK? For example, badges! Badges are a versatile and timeless product that gives you the opportunity to faithfully reproduce almost any design. Precise manufacturing technology ensures reproduction of text and graphics at a very high level, making your personalized pin both a loose reference to your company's activities and an elegant gadget with a logo. A few words about the product  KABAK pins are created from enameled metal and are handcrafted and painted. We produce them in Poland, which gives us full control over the entire production process and can provide a product that is not only pretty, but also ethically and properly made. Organic cotton is a fundamental material of KABAK offer and one of the key directions of our sustainable development. What's worth knowing about it? 📍It's grown in accordance with natural processes occurring in nature, without chemicals, pesticides, and the exploitation of people working on plantations. 📍It's dyed only with natural dyes, which is crucial beca use a significant amount of the chemicals present in clothing originate from the dyeing process. 📍It's not perfect at all, partly because the organic production process requires more fertilizers and other substances to maintain yields at a reasonable level. However, at the moment, there's still no better material for producing products like those in KABAK offer, which is why we're betting on it :)

At KABAK, we strive to ensure that our responsible production model first minimizes its impact on the environment and then compensates for that impact to the greatest extent possible. We achieve this goal through the consistent rationalization of our production, including the replacement of the materials we use with their most sustainable versions. Therefore, when the opportunity arose to join forces with #KombinatKonopny and create hemp-cotton headwear together, we didn’t hesitate for a moment! Hemp is truly a plant of the future. Firstly, it is one of the most durable natural textiles. Clothing and other products made from hemp are durable and resistant to wear and tear, and they also breathe well, making them perfect for hot days. Secondly, their production process is much more environmentally friendly than the production process of materials from other raw materials, especially fabrics made from synthetic fibers. Importantly, the hemp used in the KABAK x Kombinat Konopny collection was entirely grown in Poland, on the fields of Kombinat. Therefore, its carbon footprint is much lower than that of materials imported from abroad. Following the successful launch of the collection in retail, we are taking a step further and working to offer you the possibility of custom production based on hemp-cotton yarn in the near future. Last year, as a part of the KABAK CSR Report, we attempted to independently calculate the carbon footprint of our production. This year, we took it a step further and sought the assistance of an external expert. Thanks to the collaboration with Przemysław Poszwa, PhD Eng, we can present to you a report on the KABAK company’s carbon footprint. Why did we decide to take this step? Because at KABAK, we aim to achieve full environmental neutrality, and to effectively reduce our environmental impact, we must first measure it. Being aware of the emissions we generate as a company and in which areas we do that allows us to plan and implement many actions that will effectively reduce our carbon footprint in the coming years. At the same time, we are aware that our emissions also include those attributed to KABAK products throughout the whole supply chain. That's why we audit our suppliers, educate them, and strive to collaborate only with those entities for whom reducing their environmental impact is as important as it is for us. We also believe that by being an example for others, we will accelerate the change among larger market participants, who may, among other things, start their own transformation as a result.
