Expedia always has the best package prices. Even if it's just by a few dollars it's always cheaper. But mostly I find it to be a significant savings. we've booked at least seven or eight vacations through Expedia and we've never had any trouble. I mean we have had a flight get delayed or something of that nature but that's not expedia's fault. The hotels and cars have always been good, no problems with the bookings. I find the Expedia app to be user friendly and it's my go-to.

I booked a hotel on Expedia, chose the wrong date, and I realized right after I clicked complete booking. They are not letting me get a refund for my cancellation even though I did it within a minute. I called the hotel and they never got my reservation. I asked Expedia to cancel my cancellation as I have paid for the room, they said they couldn't do that and charged me for the room as "cancellation penalty." I lost the money for the room and I did not get the room either. Never use this app.

I've had several horrible experiences with customer service that took WEEKS of time (4 or so hours a day for 2 weeks) for them to just dismiss me and say there's nothing they could do... only to try again on the website itself and get exactly what I needed after all the agents and managers said my request was impossible... Unprofessional! Prior to these incidents, I've never had a single issue with expedia and have saved significantly bundling reservations. Also, always buy trip protection!
