Kept my attention

I truly appreciate the vulnerability Brittani spoke throughout her podcast. I do agree with other reviewers in terms of the timeline. I was slightly confused when it would bounce back to her childhood and I found myself wondering where the connections where and how I wish her backstory was as introduced in the very beginning. Overall I appreciated this podcast and was a great listen on my daily walks.

Tragically beautiful

I was drawn in by the story of the relationship with Kanon, and that the setting was in and around my hometown. I quickly realized the last name was familiar. When the story shifts to family, I realized why. I went to high school with Braileigh. Thank you for giving Braileigh a voice, telling her story, and honoring her spirit.
Brittani uses her story telling ability to touch on all of the different aspects of abuse in relationships, whether it be physical, emotional, or psychological. She tells these stories through her experience as a mother, daughter, sister and partner. What found the most compelling was that she started out with her relationship and it quickly evolved into all the f*cked up ways as humans we can hurt each other. She brings humor mixed with brutal honesty to a topic that everyone can relate to whether they want to believe they do or not.

Beautiful

This podcast plays how a beautiful novel reads. It is personal and yet universal. I binged it in one day. Thank you for the snapshot of human experience and resilience.
