¡Orgullo sin fronteras! Este fin de semana se celebró el Congreso Mundial Conjunto en Trabajo Social, Educación y Desarrollo Social: “Respetando la diversidad a través de acción social conjunta” en Panamá #SWSD2024. Este Congreso Mundial estuvo compuesto de diversas organizaciones internacionales, entre ellas la International Federation of Social Workers (IFSW) quien a su vez está compuesta por la National Association of Social Workers (NASW), por el Colegio Profesionales de Trabajo Social de Puerto Rico (CPTSPR) entre otros cientos de asociaciones de trabajo social a nivel global. Nos enorgullece compartir que el Programa de Maestría en Trabajo Social Clínico de Ana G. Méndez University fue representado por su facultad. La Dra. Debora Fontanez Flecha del Recinto de Orlando y la Prof. Luz Miranda Vázquez del Recinto Online colaboraron como moderadoras el viernes, 5 de abril de 2024, en diversos temas de las ponencias en inglés. Además, la Dr.Naylu Martinez de Gautier Martinez de Gautier del Recinto Online presentó su valiosa ponencia sobre el "Modelo de Intervención Familiar: Bienestar para Familias Sobrevivientes de Violencia Intrafamiliar en Puerto Rico." Felicitamos al comité organizador de esta actividad y a todos los facultativos de las distintas universidades puertorriqueñas y a nivel mundial, que participaron en este gran fin de semana de saberes y conexiones sociales.
