Euro 2024

Slovenia vs Serbia Euro 2024 Prediction

HINT: BTTS ODDS: 5/6 20 JUN @ 14:00

Slovenia were involved in the first draw at Euro 2024 when they came from behind to snatch a 1-1 versus Denmark courtest of Erik Janza’s deflected effort in the second half.

Serbia themselves may feel they were unlucky not to draw with England as they went down 0-1 in their group opener. Though they never really threatened Jordan Pickford’s goal despite England sitting back for 55 minutes, and have their goalkeeper to thank for superbly denying Harry Kane’s header from close range.

Slovenia may feel this is more important for them to win as they have England in their final group game, whilst Serbia would be risking elimination with defeat on Thursday.

Andraz Sporar saw four opportunities on goal in their opening game but was poor in front of goal. Left-back Erik Janza enjoyed a couple of long-range shots, whilst Benjamin Sesko was unlucky with two shots from outside the box himself. The RB Leipzig striker certainly has an eye for goal.

Serbia didn’t create too much for all their possession and territory in the second half, but should Dusan Tadic get more than 29 minutes he played in the opener then they have a great playmaker in midfield. Dusan Vlahovic is a lively forward and Aleksandar Mitrovic certainly knows where the back of the net is.

We’ve seen a lot of excitement in Germany this summer and I expect this to be an open game, particularly the second half, with both teams pushing for a winner. A match that could go either way, backing the goals in this game seems the best option.

Best bet: Both teams to score is 5/6 with Bet365
