I'm Chiara, and even though my name might sounds Italian, I'm a born and bred in Barcelona, Spain. My journey has taken me across the globe, from the sandy shores of Mauritius to the down-under wonders of Australia, and I've soaked in the vibes of many other countries along the way.

Fast forward, armed with an ELE diploma from the fantastic International House School in Barcelona, I dived headfirst into the realm of teaching Spanish to fellow language enthusiasts like you. 🚀

Chiara has been a great tutor! I was really able to build my conversational skills because of how comfortable I felt in her classes. Entering retirement I decided I needed a new interest and focus. I have been learning Spanish with Chiara for four months and have enjoyed the challenge. She is extremely patient and has been great at going at my pace. Her lessons are enjoyable and include a wide range of material. She is always positive and I always feel I have progressed each lesson. I have no hesitation in recommending such a dedicated friendly teacher.

I have been learning with Chiara for a couple of months and have progressed so much. Chiara creates interactive, engaging, and fun sessions. She makes sure to cement concepts from earlier classes, while also combining new vocabulary and grammar into each session to make sure you are moving ahead and can see your progress. Importantly, Chiara is happy and patient with you when you make mistakes, and welcomes them as a key way to learn (which is good, because I’m a slow learner who makes a lot of mistakes, and it sometimes takes me hearing something a few different ways to really get it!). I highly recommend Chiara!

Conversational Spanish

Speaking a language is one of the most common goals, so that's why I am taking it so seriously.In my conversional Spanish classes I use a lot of resources and didactic activities such as games where you, my student, are always the protagonist and the class is based on the fact that you can develop your oral skills and feel comfortable and safe speaking in Spanish, always with patience and adapted to your needs.

Spanish for beginners

I have also been a beginning student in other languages, so I fully understand the needs of starting from the beginning. With me you will feel safe and want to learn more!

Intensive Spanish

In my intensive Spanish classes, we set a goal from the beginning of the sessions and we progress according to what we have proposed. You will see your evolution quickly.

European Spanish

I am a native Spanish. I was born in Spain and grew up in Spain, so my Spanish is European. I can help you improve your accent and phonetics, as well as talk about European culture and other interesting aspects.

Business Spanish

I have many resources to use. We can even recreate real life situations in business, so you learn better and faster.

General Spanish

I have experience teaching general Spanish, which includes grammar and spelling rules, communication skills, pronunciation and listening comprehension. All this through dynamic activities and many resources to not to get bored!
