About me

Hello guys! :) I am professor of French language and literature and I've got 14 years of experience in teaching in a private school for foreign languages as well as online. I work with individuals or groups of students from primary, secondary school and college to adults.

My experience includes working with different ages and levels of knowledge, as well as with students who want to have an official world recognized qualification to certify French language competency (ex: TCF test -Test de Connaissance du Français, etc...).

My teaching methods are adapted to the student's personal and professional needs.

I am a beginner with zero knowledge of French and Elena is supporting me a lot in the process of learning. She is very organised and she plans all the lessons in details, always punctual. She takes notes of what we do during the lessons and we always start a new lesson from what we left. I like her enthusiasm in teaching and it's visible how much she cares about the progress made. Elena is highly recommended as a tutor!

Elena is a very good teacher. She's focused and supportive of my abilities and needs. She's patient as I try to regain speaking facility from 30 years ago (I'm good with reading and language comprehension), and offers lessons at my level that we go through step by step. Her explanations for grammar, spelling, tenses are clear and thorough. She's never impatient despite my halting and frustrating attempts. She's open to my requests, has a good sense of humor and gives me hope that I'll regain my ability to speak fluently again. I recommend her highly.
