About me

Hello! My name is Oana and I'm from Bucharest, Romania. I'm an emphatic and curious person, willing to teach you my native language. I like to write, to dance, and to see new places.

I have two degrees, one in public administration and one in acting.

Right now, I'm teaching Romanian here on Preply for almost three years now and I enjoy it so much. My learning method it's adaptable to each student because each person learns differently.

I'm some kind of a Romanian grammar fan and I speak also Spanish and a little German.

Romanian is not a difficult language, I think it depends more on who and how is teaching you, it's all about patience and practice. It depends also which is your motivation for learning this language.

I like lessons with Oana! She's professional, always provides good examples. I also like that she's very attentive to the details and is always ready to explain parts that I don't understand. Oana is very positive and has great sense of humor :)

I had no knowlegde of Romanian before starting lessons with Oana. Beside all the knowledge she provided me, she helped me get the pronunciation correct in only a few lessons and I am convinced that I wouldn't have succeeded so fast without her.

Oana is a great teacher and a very bright, extraordinary person. She always knows how to make a lesson interesting and lively, and I feel that my Romanian has significantly improved since I started my classes with Oana. I have already noticed that I can understand a lot of what people say, and I only knew a few words before.
