About me

With over 9 years experience in the field, as well as qualifications in teaching, modern languages and psychology, I can help you achieve your language goals.

Additionally to my TEFL certificate, I also have a Masters in Psychology with Distinction from Reading University, a MA Hons 1st Class degree with distinction in Modern Languages from Edinburgh University and a French Baccalaureat diploma, specialising in Science. I also have experience in business in both France and the UK (I am an entrepreneur) and help some clients with their Business English/French (cold calling, email etiquette, cultural difference etc). I also give pronunciation lessons and offer training for language exams such as IELTS, TOEFL, DELF and Cambridge Business English qualifications. I am currently specialising in Performance Psychology alongside my teaching, which means I can help students to achieve their career goals, through stress management, positive thinking, improved motivation and focus etc… Finally I have worked with adults and children from all around the world, as I have previously lived in Russia, Colombia, Mexico, France and Spain and speak good Russian, French, Spanish and German.
My lessons are always varied, full of enthusiasm and the aim is not only to improve but to do so whilst having fun. My 7 year old daughter started French lessons with Natacha over 12 months ago. Over that time they have built up a terrific bond, Clara eagerly awaits her lessons, something we never thought possible and as a result Natacha now supports Clara with English as well. Natacha is courteous, kind and patient, yet firm enough to keep Clara on track, her lessons are very engaging and we could not be happier we found her on Preply.

I am British myself, and therefore know the British education system and British culture. I also help with British pronunciation.

Identifying the needs of the student and their specific business environment. Teaching the language to use in interviews but also the etiquette and behaviour expected. Role plays to help the student feel confident in the interview and prepare them for the most common questions. Encourage them to think on their feet if they aren't expecting a certain question.
