    About me

My name is Yuko. I live in Japan.

My hobbies are listening to music, playing guitar, reading books, and watching movies, anime, and dramas.

I also do 50 squats every day and play Ring Fit Adventure on Switch so that I don't get too much exercise.

I have about 20 years of experience as a Japanese teacher, having taught at 9 different Japanese language schools. Currently, I also give online and face-to-face lessons for companies.

I am good at IT, and I incorporate a lot of digital into my lessons.

I give lessons so that students can properly express their thoughts in Japanese. I want to be able to not only say it, but also enjoy speaking it.

First of all, I often ask them to talk about what they like to do. Even people who are not good at speaking will want to talk about what they like. I ask them a lot of questions about it. In fact, I enjoy and love listening to them.

In the trial lesson, I will confirm your level and ask you whether your goal in studying Japanese is to pass the JLPT or to improve your conversational Japanese. I will suggest teaching materials that match your goals. Of course, please let me know if there are any materials you would like to use.
