Hello! My name is Diane and I'm excited to help you with your English goals! I was born and raised in Georgia, USA but I now live in Spain. During my spare time, I enjoy cooking, traveling, paddle surfing, indoor rock climbing, and spending time with my friends.
I studied biology and chemistry but that doesn't mean that I'm a one-trick pony. I love to learn and talk about new and different topics and interests. Every day is an opportunity to learn something new, no?
I have 5 years of experience teaching in schools (primary and language schools) and one-on-one classes. I am TEFL and TESOL certified. I have prepared students for the Cambridge exams, Trinity exams, and English exams at the Escuela de Idiomas in Spain. I also reinforce school materials that are taught in English (natural science, social science, and English class).
I personalize all my classes to each student's needs and goals. In my classes, I use a mix of flashcards, TPR, textbooks, online materials, and games to ensure we understand what we have learned in class. Remember, everyone is different so, every class will be different and tailored to their needs.
