Before you read further, I am Teaching Bahasa Melayu a.k.a the Malay Language. Here in Preply, there is no option made available for Malay. That's the reason why you find this language falls under the category of Indonesian.

Please be informed that my learning materials are mostly focused on teens to adult learners (not suitable for young learners), covering topics from beginners to advanced. Let's have a chat and see if I can be your next best tutor.

Yusri structures his class from the very basics, which is good since I have almost no background in the Malay language. Yusri has been extraordinarily patient with my many questions and he incorporates culture and history to his answers, which is helpful for me. We learn on Google Docs, which is convenient for busy people as one can learn on the go. Yusri is always cheerful and has lots of experience teaching foreigners Malay. He has been a great partner on this learning journey and I highly recommend trying out his classes.

Learning Bahasa Melayu with Yusri is very fun - I always look forward to homework (expect to try things like writing social media posts in Malay and even translating advertising slogans to Malay). I'm getting more confident with speaking the language and I always look forward to the next lesson!
